Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using Imbita and the services we provide for creating, managing and sharing digital event experiences.

Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. About Imbita

Imbita is a digital platform for planning and sharing events. Depending on the features you use, Imbita can help you:

  • Create and send digital invitations
  • Collect and track RSVPs
  • Organise guests, families and plus-ones
  • Publish an event page or event website
  • Plan seating and table assignments
  • Welcome guests with QR or search-based check-in
  • Use other related event tools we add over time

We describe these tools as the "service" throughout these Terms.

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a plan or service, publishing an event, or otherwise using Imbita, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Imbita on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for that organisation.

If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use the service.

3. Accounts

To use most of Imbita, you'll need an account. When you have one:

  • Please keep your account information accurate and up to date
  • Keep your login credentials private and secure
  • You are responsible for activity that happens through your account
  • Accounts may not be used for fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity

Let us know as soon as possible if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

4. Events and invitations

You decide what goes into your event. That means you are responsible for:

  • The information you publish
  • Photos and files you upload
  • The guest information you add
  • Event details such as dates, times and venues
  • Having permission to use any content, images, music or fonts you provide
  • The accuracy of everything shown on your invitation or event page

Imbita displays what you enter. We are not responsible for mistakes, omissions or outdated details entered by an event organiser.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create from your own material — your photos, wording, guest lists and event details.

To operate the service, you give Imbita the limited permission needed to store, process, host, adapt for display, and show your content where you've asked us to: on your invitation, your event page, RSVP screens, exports and previews.

Imbita does not claim ownership of your photos, your event information, or designs produced from content you provide. This permission exists only to deliver the service and ends when the content is removed, except for copies retained in routine backups for a limited period.

6. Guest information

Event organisers may add guest information, or collect it through RSVP forms. This can include:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • RSVP status
  • Meal or dietary selections
  • Guest groups, families and plus-ones
  • Seating assignments
  • Answers submitted through RSVP questions

As the organiser, you should only submit information you're permitted to use, and you should tell your guests how their details will be used. Our Privacy Policy explains how Imbita handles this data on your behalf.

7. Plans, pricing and payments

Imbita may offer free features, paid plans for individual events, subscriptions, one-time services and custom design engagements.

The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to that purchase. Prices are generally displayed in Philippine Peso (PHP, ₱). Taxes or payment-provider fees may apply depending on how you pay.

Features included in each plan are described on the pricing page or in your checkout summary at the time of purchase.

8. Subscription services

Where a service is offered on a recurring basis:

  • Billing follows the cycle you select at checkout
  • You can review and manage the subscription from your account
  • Included features may differ between plans
  • We may change pricing in future, and will communicate material changes affecting an active paid subscription where reasonably possible

If a plan is tied to a single event, the entitlement applies to that event as described at purchase.

9. Custom design services (Imbita Bespoke)

Custom design and custom development work is quoted per project. A custom engagement may have its own:

  • Quotation and accepted scope
  • Payment schedule or deposit
  • Revision limits
  • Delivery schedule
  • Design and content requirements
  • Technical or development requirements

The quotation or project agreement you accept may include additional terms. Where those terms differ from these Terms, the accepted quotation applies to that engagement.

10. Cancellations and refunds

You can stop using Imbita at any time, and cancel eligible subscriptions from your account.

Whether a cancellation or refund is available depends on the situation, including:

  • The status of your subscription or event entitlement
  • Whether the service has already been delivered or used
  • Custom work already scoped, started or completed
  • The rules of the payment provider used
  • Applicable consumer protection laws

Deposits and completed custom design work may be treated differently from standard plans. If you think something has gone wrong with a payment, contact us and we'll look into it with you.

11. Acceptable use

Please don't use Imbita to:

  • Commit fraud or mislead others
  • Impersonate another person or organisation
  • Send malicious, harmful or deceptive content
  • Distribute malware or harmful code
  • Infringe someone else's intellectual property
  • Harass, threaten or endanger anyone
  • Collect personal data unlawfully
  • Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, data or systems
  • Interfere with, overload or probe our infrastructure

12. Intellectual property

Imbita owns the platform itself, including our brand and logo, the software and interface, platform functionality, our original template system, and the components we build.

You own your material — your uploaded photos, event information, wording and original content.

Neither side gets ownership of the other's material simply by using the service together.

13. Template usage

Imbita templates are provided for use through Imbita services. Unless we authorise it in writing, templates may not be extracted, redistributed, resold or offered as standalone products, and template code or assets may not be copied for use outside the platform.

14. Availability of the service

We work hard to keep Imbita reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, infrastructure incidents or third-party outages may occasionally affect access. For time-critical moments such as event-day check-in, we recommend preparing a simple backup (for example, an exported guest list).

15. Third-party services

Imbita relies on other providers to operate, which may include payment processing, hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, analytics and security services. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

16. Changes to the service

Imbita is actively developed. We may add, improve, modify, replace or discontinue features as the platform evolves. Where a material change significantly affects a paid service you're using, we'll aim to give you appropriate notice.

17. Limitation of liability

Imbita is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, Imbita is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from event details entered incorrectly by an organiser, guest behaviour, or third-party service interruptions.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

18. Termination

We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, security abuse, illegal activity or serious violations of these Terms. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

You can stop using Imbita whenever you like, and request deletion of your account and content as described in our Privacy Policy.

19. Governing law

These Terms are intended to operate under the applicable laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including applicable consumer protection and data privacy laws.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Imbita grows. Material updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
